How could your constant disdain
lead to anything other than my victimisation?
This disdain, meaning the complete distortion of
my usual behaviour,
leads to many rotten conclusions.
The most rotten conclusion is distrust.
You took good care of putting a spell on me.
A spell of insecurity.
I immediately became soft clay in your hands
– like those faces and figures you used to make once.
How could your constant disdain
lead to anything other than just a horrible and dramatic end?
If you understood for at least a moment
that your constant disdain towards me
is also a result of your own insecurity,
now we would still love each other in some way.
It could be otherwise.
It could be otherwise,
if I had left you first.
Only then it could have been otherwise.
