I started writing when I was still a child.

I come from Corfu, a small island in the Ionian Sea, Greece. In the past I used to live for three years in Germany and Berlin. After doing my Master and living in Germany I have decided in September 2018 to move to Barcelona. Spain is a magical country and I decided to move there after living in Germany to change my life and my inner self. Initially my plan was to study theater in Spain, but later I started building small puppets and entered the world of puppets for a while. Now I am are more interested in painting. As for writing, it was always my best companion.

I always had this fantasy to create moving images by using words. And this is what I do through poetry or expressing my thoughts. Topics that inspire me are time, universe and dimensions, life and death, nature, society and the way it’s structured through time and history, all sort of transformations – mainly internally, like the constant transformation of and interchange between emotional weakness and strength.

I like improvising with words and write down without even thinking too much. Of course there are times where I need to think more, but when it comes to poetry there is a natural tension to let the words fly freely and without a specific organisation. It’s like writing gives me this freedom of not thinking and being spontaneous. In real life it’s not exactly like that, so I enjoy writing even more. It liberates me.

It’s like creating out of the invisibility and trying to describe everything that is invisible and fragile. Everything that the human eye cannot see. For this reason every text I create is accompanied by the name ‘lignes invisibiles’.

All the photos you see accompanying the texts are the work of years and also follow the concept of the invisible lines along with the concept of distortions.

The illustrations are also the result of the work of years. A keep various sketchbooks.

I write in various languages, Greek, German, English, Italian and Spanish. I make the translation myself.

Empecé a escribir cuando era niña, en la escuela.

Vengo de Corfú, una pequeña isla en el mar Jónico, Grecia. En el pasado vivía durante tres años en Alemania y Berlín. Después de hacer mi maestría y vivir en Alemania, decidí mudarme a Barcelona en septiembre de 2018. España es un país mágico y decidí mudarme allí después de vivir en Alemania para cambiar mi vida y mi mundo interior. Inicialmente, mi plan era estudiar teatro en España, pero luego comencé a construir pequeños títeres y entré al mundo de los títeres por un tiempo. Ahora estoy más interesado en la pintura. La escritura, siempre fue mi mejor compañero.

Siempre tuve esta fantasía de crear imágenes en movimiento usando palabras. Y esto es lo que hago a través de la poesía o expresando mis pensamientos. Los temas que me inspiran son el tiempo, el universo y las dimensiones, la vida y la muerte, la naturaleza, la sociedad y la forma en que se estructura a través del tiempo y la historia, todo tipo de transformaciones, principalmente internas, como la constante transformación e intercambio entre la debilidad emocional y la fuerza.

Me gusta improvisar con palabras y escribir sin siquiera pensar demasiado. Por supuesto, hay momentos en los que necesito pensar más, pero cuando se trata de poesía, existe una tensión natural para dejar que las palabras vuelen libremente y sin una organización específica. Es como escribir me da esta libertad de no pensar y ser espontáneo. En la vida real no es exactamente así, así que disfruto escribir aún más. Me libera.

Es como crear a partir de la invisibilidad y tratar de describir todo lo que es invisible y frágil. Todo lo que el ojo humano no puede ver. Por esta razón, cada texto que creo está acompañado por el nombre ‘lignes invisibiles’.

Todas las fotos que ves acompañando los textos son el trabajo de años y también siguen el concepto de las líneas invisibles junto con el concepto de distorsiones.

Las ilustraciones también son el resultado del trabajo de años. Mantengo varios cuadernos de bocetos.

Escribo en varios idiomas, griego, alemán, inglés, italiano y español. Hago la traducción yo mismo. En 2020 comencé también a grabar algunos de los textos, que están disponibles en soundcloud. El propósito era poner los textos a disposición de las personas que no pueden ver.

        We can both agree that from time to time, it pays to (re)examine our writings, which reflect our very own being and thoughts. Writing is far from always a straightforward, rather habitual process that some people assume.
